Candidates applying for the post must meet the following age criteria as on the cutoff date:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years (for General/Unreserved category)

Age Relaxation Details: Upper age relaxation will be provided to reserved and special categories as per the table below.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline from a university or institution recognized by the Government of India or approved by regulatory bodies.
• All streams (Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering, Management, etc.) are eligible.
• Final year students are not eligible. Results must be declared on or before the cutoff date mentioned in the notification.

Nationality:

• Candidates must be citizens of India. Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.

Other Conditions:

• Candidates should have sound health and be fit for the pre-recruitment medical test.
• Basic knowledge/proficiency in the official language of the state/UT for which they are applying is required.

The selection process for the LIC Assistant post consists of three stages:

1. Preliminary Examination (Qualifying)
2. Main Examination (Merit deciding)
3. Pre-Recruitment Medical Test
