Eligibility Details

Compassionate Ground Appointment Eligibility:

This recruitment is purely under the Compassionate Ground Appointment Scheme. Only dependent family members of Assam Rifles personnel are eligible to apply. Eligible categories include family members of personnel who were killed in action (KIA), died while in service, discharged from service on medical grounds, or missing while in service. Only one dependent family member per deceased/medically discharged/missing personnel can apply.

Post Wise Qualification Requirements:

General Duty (GD) Rifleman 10th class pass from a recognized board
Cipher 12th pass + 2-year ITI in Radio/TV/Electronics OR Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/IT
Clerk 12th pass (Intermediate) + English typing (35 wpm) or Hindi typing (30 wpm)
Electrical Fitter Signal 10th pass with Science, Math & English + practical electrical knowledge
Lineman Field 10th pass + ITI certificate in Electrician trade
Armourer 10th class pass from a recognized board
Recovery Vehicle Mechanic 10th pass + ITI certificate in Recovery Vehicle Mechanic trade
Electrician Mechanic Vehicle (EMV) 10th pass + ITI in Motor Mechanic trade
Metalsmith 10th pass + ITI in related trade
Mason 10th pass from a recognized board
Store Keeper Technical (SKT) 12th pass (Matriculation with English, Maths & Science + Diploma)
Vehicle Mechanic 10th pass + ITI in Motor Mechanic trade
Engineer Equipment Mechanic (EEM) 10th pass + ITI in Engineer Equipment Mechanic trade

Note on Compassionate Ground Selection:

This recruitment is purely under the Compassionate Ground Appointment Scheme. There is no competitive written examination. Selection is based on verification of eligibility as dependent family members of Assam Rifles personnel, followed by the physical tests, trade test, and medical examination.

Salary Details

Pay scale and other allowance will be as admissible to Assam Rifles Personnel.

2. Fill the application form completely and accurately.

3. Attach self-attested copies of the following documents:

– Educational certificates

– Domicile certificate

– Caste certificate (if applicable)

– Diploma / Technical / ITI certificate of the trade (as per Qualitative Requirements)

– One xerox copy of Photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID or Driving Licence)

4. Write “APPLICATION FOR COMPASSIONATE GROUND APPOINTMENT” boldly on the top of the postal envelope.
