Selection Process & Merit Calculation
The total merit is based on 60 Marks:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): 30 Marks
- Educational Qualification (Bonus for Graduates): 10 Marks
- NCC/NSS/Scout Guide: 05 Marks
- Homeguard Family Members: 05 Marks
- Sports Certificates: 05 Marks
- Driving License (Heavy/Light): 05 Marks
How to Apply Offline
- Obtain the application form from dehradun.nic.in, the Dehradun Home Guards Facebook page, or the District Commandant office notice board.
- Fill in the details carefully (Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Address).
- Attach self-attested copies of the required documents (10th Marksheet, Domicile, Caste Certificate, Hill Certificate, Character Certificate, Bonus Certificates).
- Affix 2 recent self-signed color passport-size photographs.
- Submit the completed form either personally or via post to the following address by 22 May 2026:
