SSB Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Specialist Doctors: A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Must also have a Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned Specialty. Experience requirements are 1½ years for Post Graduate degree holders and 2½ years for Diploma holders in the relevant specialty.
- General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO): A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, along with completion of compulsory rotating internship.
Age Limit:
- Maximum Age Limit: 70 years for all posts.
