Professor: Ph.D. degree with 10 years of experience in teaching/research, 10 publications, and UGC research score of 110/120.

Associate Professor: Ph.D. degree with 55% in Master’s, 8 years of experience, 7 publications, and research score of 75.

Assistant Professor: Master’s degree (55%) with NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. (as per UGC norms).

Principal: Ph.D. degree with 15 years of experience, 10 publications, and research score of 110.

College Librarian: Master’s in Library Science (55%) with computer knowledge.

Junior Engineer (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5 years of experience.

Programmer (IT): MCA/B.Tech/M.Sc IT (First Class) with 3 years of experience.

Senior Assistant: Graduate degree with computer course certificate and 5 years of Clerk experience.

Clerk / Storekeeper: Graduate degree with computer course (CIT/O Level) certificate.

Accounts Assistant: B.Com / CA/ICWA/CS Inter qualification with 3 years of experience.

1. Scrutiny of Applications and Shortlisting.

2. Written Test / Skill Test / Interview (as applicable for different posts).

3. Document Verification.

For Group-C Posts: Candidates must clear a mandatory Punjabi Language Qualifying Test (50% minimum marks required) before proceeding to the Written & Skill Test.

For Teaching Posts: Shortlisting will be based on academic record, research publications, experience, and research score as per UGC Regulations 2018. Final selection will be based on merit and performance in the interview.

1. Candidates must apply online through the official MBSPSU website (www.mbspsu.ac.in). No other mode of application (post, email, fax, hand delivery) will be accepted for initial submission.

2. Fill out the online registration form and then complete the detailed application form, ensuring all personal and educational details are accurate.

3. Upload passport-size photo and signature in the specified format and size (200 KB max, JPEG format, white background photo less than 3 months old).

4. Pay the application fee online using the provided payment gateway.

5. After successful submission, take four printouts of the completed application form.

6. Self-attest copies of all required certificates and testimonials, and affix a passport photo on each of the four sets.

7. Send all four hard-copy sets along with declaration forms to “The Registrar, Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University, Patiala-147001” by courier or registered post before 28 April 2026.
